  1. A flying palace or chariot described in Hindu and Jain  texts.  

  2. In the Vimanaverse:
    A self-sustaining  aerial civilization whose architecture, technology, and social order are organized around the cultivation of consciousness.

Vaimānika Shāstra is a multimedia universe created by Zeeshan Hassan Andoh and Jeffrey McCready. It takes form across fine art, creative writing, graphic novels, and a short film in development, The Song of Apsaras.

The works presented here document the construction of the Vimanaverse, from architectural studies and symbolic still lifes to character design and worldbuilding. Together, they establish the visual language, historical depth, and philosophical foundations of the animated work.

Zeeshan Hassan Andoh serves as the project's primary worldbuilder, writer, theorist, and visual researcher.
